my heart is heavy with emotions. im frustrated, tired, and sad to have left hanoi so soon. i grew from the experience and discovered some of my strengths and weaknesses . i learned to surround myself with positive energy instead of drowning myself in constant negativity. i outgrew old friends and opened myself up to warmhearted, loving people. i’ll always treasure the memories i made with my friends in hanoi. i hope that i will one day be able to catch up with them somewhere in the world. being in a foreign country and completely alone at first is scary. i feel so lucky to have met the amazing people i did, by pure chance.
